This discharge tube routes high-pressure refrigerant from the compressor to the condenser so the refrigerator can shed heat and cool properly. Replacement restores proper refrigerant flow and system performance when the original tube is damaged. What it does:

• Channels refrigerant from the compressor discharge port to the condenser coil.
• Maintains a sealed path for high-pressure refrigerant to prevent loss of cooling.
• Failing tube symptoms may include reduced cooling, unusual oil residue or wet spots, and intermittent compressor operation.
