A flange lock nut, also known as a flange lock or a lock nut, is created to be used in various types of lawn and garden equipment. This flange lock nut holds other parts in place and, when properly threaded, will resist loosening. Over time, a flange lock nut may begin to weaken and may become loose or break. If it appears to be broken or weak, a replacement is required. Flange locks can be adjusted and uninstalled after use. When replacement is required, you may need a socket set, screwdriver, hacksaw, and butane torch. The socket wrench will loosen the bolt it is connected to, while the torch is used to heat the lock nut. A socket wrench may remove the nut, but sometimes cutting it with a hacksaw is required. This flange lock nut is a genuine OEM component directly from the manufacturer and comes in an individual unit. It is made of metal, a gold color, and can be found in various areas of lawn equipment. It works with lawnmowers, trimmers, snowblowers, cultivators, tillers, and leaf blowers by Poulan, MTD, Toro, Cub Cadet, Murray, Troy-Bilt, Bolens, Yard Machines, Craftsman, and Yard-Man.

This OEM part is a blade engagement switch for lawnmowers. The blade engagement switch is the knob on the mower that allows the user to turn the cutting blades on or off while riding or pushing a mower. If the blades are no longer turning off or on when engaging the switch, the blade engagement switch will need to be replaced. Luckily replacing this switch is a relatively easy process. Before beginning, make sure the power to the mower is turned off. Once off, remove the switch by taking a screwdriver or putty knife to pry the switch out of the control console. Once removed from the control console, replace it with the new switch by plugging it into its outlet. After securing the switch, power the mower to test if the blades are able to be engaged with the new switch. This genuine replacement part is compatible with MTD brand lawnmowers.

This self-tapping screw is used to attach various parts to the engine housing of medium sized gasoline powered engines, in particular yard tools such as tillers, snow blowers, yard tractors, riding mowers, power vacuums, shredders, and chippers. It is used in over 150 different gasoline powered engines. Screws such as these are used particularly when a device is going to receive a great amount of vibration and stress while the engine is running and rotating tools are engaged. Such devices sustain a great deal of wear over time and the parts subject to replacement will eventually fail and need to be replaced. In such cases, it is wisest to replace the attaching hardware such as housing screws as well, because it is a self-tapping screw. Screws of this type are designed to forge a tight bond between the metal pieces they are securing together, but once loosened, they should ideally be replaced with new hardware. Make sure when replacing these screws to use genuine OEM parts like these screws. These replacement parts are manufactured to be identical to the original pieces. This hex screw is compatible with the following brands: MasterCut, Yard-Man, Yard Machine, Montgomery Wards, MTC, Murray, Bolens, Craftsman, Turf King, Troy Bilt, Cub Cadet, Huskee, Toro, and Ryobi.
