How to Troubleshoot & Replace Bosch AP2802458 / 00359976 Center Spray Arm And Tube Assembly

To address the issue with the dishes not cleaning as well as before, I checked the obvious first; such as the strainers for debris preventing adequate water flow to the pressure pump etc. The water fill height was proper, but there was still a hidden problem that I had to narrow down. On the Bosch particular model, The upper spray arm and connector was not properly sealing the discharge water from the pressure pump; and in removing the drawer, and looking at the plate where the water flow is coupled to the manifold, I noticed the internal plate gasket distorted and oval like; and that was limiting the flow of water through the arm because of leakage, and bypassing the spray arm assembly. A quick snap off after applying a little liquid soap on the clip to ease romoveal and replacement, and All Fixed..... The Rinse door pryed off easily, and again added soap on the hinge pins to make it easy. DONE!.... Works Great! 

Very easily fix. Took out part place it in dishwasher and tightened part into fitting. No tools required. 

Went on the internet, found Appliance parts right away, had my parts delivered via Fedex in only a few days (in Hawaii!) for a whole lot less money than buying a new dishwasher, which I thought I needed. Easy assembly--that's the Bosch part. 

Once replaced the dishwasher worked like new--thank you so much for saving me a lot of money 

Unfortunately, products are hard to procure due to the challenges in the global supply chain. However, after a few months of waiting, I finally received my spray arm assembly. I am NOT handy at all, but with the quick video, I was able to replace the spray arm and probably save $100-$150 by not calling the repairman. So thankful! 

A brief (a minute or two) investigation showed that the jets in the top sprayer were clogged up with what looked like lime deposits. No way it was spinning. The filter in the bottom of the pan also looked mostly clogged. Our dishwasher is very old, and regularly displays the "2H" code (I refuse to buy yet another circuit board!!!), but it still heats and dries the dishes, so I decided to try and find a replacement sprayer and filter. They were right there, and cheap, on the AppliancePartsPros site. Ordered them, got them, literally snapped them in to place. Glasses come out clean now!

Ordered the replacement part. Watched your video on replacing it, pried it out and snapped the new one in. It was a 5-minute fix thanks to the video.
