First, the problem: Our time light stopped working...then we discovered water leaking around the dishwasher. When I removed the dishwasher, I discovered the time light was completely disconnected by rodent action, and the power cable had been eaten through, with bare 120V wiring completely accessible to water from an eaten-through drain line. I bought new parts from APP, and followed some videos on their website to assist in figuring out what to do. Though the whole process took a few weeks without a dishwasher, the actual repair went pretty smoothly. I had to solder new wiring where the time light was, and a couple of other spots. One thing that really helped was during one of the videos, the repairman showed me where the dishwasher schematic was--very important for correct time light wiring (the schematic is behind the metal cover at the base of the dishwasher). I couldn't find any information on the Internet specifically about the time light wiring, or a separate schematic. My wife is ecstatic that we can stop hand washing dishes!
