How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP2142603 / 5303281019 Ball

Checked online and found the possible cause as a worn drum support shaft. The information on AppliancePartsPros.com site was very helpful. It lead me to the correct parts, showed me a detailed video on exactly how to replace the shaft, told me what parts I would need and provided an easy to use ordering system for the part. On top of that, the parts arrived one day after I ordered them. GREAT SERVICE!!! 

Put new bearing and ball pieces in and went ahead and replaced the belt at the same time. 

Replaced the resister, new belt, greased drum guide on door panel, installed the bearing kit. Everything fit perfect. Smells like grease and belt squeal on first break in. Goes away on second load 

My husband took the dryer apart to see if he could find the problem. Knowing nothing at all about dryers he did however locate the problem. Looked up the parts on a Sunday evening and received them on a Tuesday morning by Tuesday evening it was fixed. Yeah
