How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP7195056 / 5304532205 Base (Lower Cabinet Support)

Ordered the parts with no model number as it wore off, went by pictures. The delivery service was beyond expectations and happily the parts fit. Thank you for the pictures within the grid, very helpful and for next day service, great experience all around.

After tackling a bearing/spider replacement in my Samsung front load washer I was ready to fix anything. My dishwasher had been turned into a drying rack since it was leaking. My plan was just replace it when I had the funds, so never in reality. After finding this website for the washing machine parts I then watched a couple of the videos on my dishwasher. I ordered a tub gasket and a door seal along with a few other parts to replace some missing parts from the previous home owners. The order arrived here the next day and it took maybe 20 minutes to install the parts. So I went from not using and wanting to replace my dishwasher to having it running good as new in no time and I estimate I saved at least $650 on replacing it.

I bought the base filter and the filter because my dishwasher was leaving “dandruff” on the dishes no matter how many times I took out the filter and cleaned it! My dishwasher was 10 years old and the filter was warped. It does make a huge difference. While I was waiting for the filter s to arrive I cleaned the dishwasher many times with vinegar (run the dishwasher with a small bowl of vinegar on the bottom rack) to descale it. Then I watched the video of how to install them...I had been putting them in wrong too. The base filter part looks different, but actually works better to strain because there is a filter at the bottom too, but don’t worry, it’s gonna work. Very happy with the results. 

This video made it so easy even I could take care of this repair! The same filters were 50-70 each on amazon, I got all 3 and expedited shipping for under $70. Replacing them took about 10 minutes because I had to re watch the video to be sure before I started. 

Repair went perfect. The videos allowed me to do it all cleanly with no leaks and everything fit perfectly. 

I just moved and there was a funky odor coming from my dishwasher. After a little digging, I found a video uploaded by Appliance Parts Pros that helped me learn how to remove the filters. They were beyond cleaning, so I ordered all new parts (at less than half what Amazon sold them for) and was able to easily reassemble everything after watching the video again. I’ve never done anything like this and am so happy I didn’t need to call anyone for help! Thank you!
