How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP5968389 / 5304499075 Refrigerator Main Power Control Board

Had to replace control and compressor inverter board Could not have done it with out your video and the right parts The first time .had to lay on the floor and tilt back the refrigerator For good access to control board and take a snapshot shot Before removing connections. The compressor inverter board is more challenging tight space the unit is working like new Thanks Dennis B 

Installed new display control board. Very easy & resolved error code. 

You must order both the Control-Electrical (part that goes behind the display) and control main power board (part under the left front side under freezer) or it doesn’t work. I only ordered the main power board and it didn’t fix the problem. Once I got the door display part it’s working good as new. It only took me 20 minutes to install both parts! Only bad news is I don’t have an excuse to buy a new fridge! Haha 

The technician agreed that it was the main board. After three weeks and two boards, I checked the comments on this site and found that you have to also replace the display board or the new main board would not work. I ordered both parts and did it myself. It is now cooling correctly.

I changed the module control board located at the bottom of the refrigerator & I also changed the control board located on the freezer door that has the LCD screen
