Art S Escondido , CA August 14, 2015 Ce error code on electrolux refr display Symptoms: CE displayed, refrigerator inside light out, no cold air going to refrigerator, compressor cycling on an off; Ordered main power board from AppliancePartsPros. Board arrived next day. It comes with a new wiring harness and tray housing. Watched YouTube video that showed how to install the board. Board goes under refer on left side under freezer. Had to straighten the bottom metal plate (it was bent) to allow the board (and tray housing) to slide out. Only one screw to remove that holds the tray in place. New board may not look exactly like the old one, but the functionality is the same. New wiring harness made it easy to hook up the new board; slid the new board and housing back in. That fixed the problem. Approx. one hour fix. NOTE: check your refer model number CAREFULLY before you order (use the compatibility check feature on the web site). Nancy E Richmond , KY September 14, 2015 Error code fridge would cut on/off we could uplug turn back on this would allow it to run again until our new part arrived First we called a repair man ,he was to busy ,told we had to wait 2 weeks !! (to long) So we ordered the part .. Our wonderful neighbor came over to assist ..We Unplugged fridge, rolled away from the wall Put a couple thick/.heavy pieces of wood under the front of fridge , This was to allow us to get to the little teeney grey box underneath the fridge. Loosened the screw holding the box in place .. Pulled out the box then unplugged all the attached plugs ,then re attached the new plugs that came with the new box, ,plugged the baby back in !! Bingo She started to purr again .. .. Was told if a repairman man was called to fix our problem? The cost would be a whopping $ 695.00 parts & labor ! ,So that's when we decided to seek out our own fix.. Works like a charm ,Fridge was only 5 yrs old Was an Electrolux side by side w/.ice maker and all the bells & whistles, Now shes like brand new again! Thanks to appliance pros... and a few minutes of our time along with a wonderful neighbors guideance and muscle power....also used you-tube that shows us "the how to" fix fridge, Read More... 4 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes Tools: Pliers, Screwdrivers

William T Newport News , VA December 15, 2016 Appliance: Electrolux Refrigerator EW23CS65GS1 Our homeless shelter had a nice electrolux fridge donated but it would cycle off and never get cold After checking all the possible issues I narrowed it down to the control module, about 90% sure anyway. Ordered the part, installed it in 15 minutes by removing just one screw. The directions it came with were minimal but sufficient. It now runs just great. Instead of paying to haul it away, we will now sell it for $500-$600.
