How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4455337 / 318372211 Coil Burner Element

I was going to replace my entire range due to a failed bake element however due to COVID causing many shipping delays and retailers not being able to provide me with a quick delivery time. I opted to freshen up my existing range at the same time I was fixing the bake element. I am really happy as I saved a considerable amount of money, got to teach my sons how to fix an appliance, and now I will hopefully have a bunch more years of service life with this appliance. Ordered a new element. Also, as range burners were old and heating unevenly and burner pans were in bad shape, ordered all new burners and pans. Easy to install everything and all works as good as new 

Thought I might have to get a new stove. But while I was cleaning it I discovered how easy it was to remove the coils. An internet search for the model & parts gave me lots of hits, but it wasn’t clear if they were the right ones. It was confusing because two of the burners looked different, but ended up to be the same part. I was happy to find appliancepartspros.com because they gave me access to the manual for the stove so i could see the part numbers and they were linked to the parts I needed. 

New burners and saucers. 

I ordered new elements and splash pans. 

Nothing to fix just needed a 6" and an 8" unit. Was shipped ASAP. Perfect 

I ordered all four elements for the stove. Only the two back elements were failing, but I figured the others would soon go bad, so I replaced all. The removal and install went well, no issues at all.

Ordered replacement element, based on model number of stove. 

Replaced bake element, replaced surface heat elements and controllers.
