How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4455337 / 318372211 Range 6-Inch Coil Burner Element

I found you guys on a late Saturday night. My top agitator wasn't working. So I ordered the parts, which was the complete upper agitator kit. I watched your video tutorial on youtube, and it took me about 10 minutes to replace and put a new load of wash in to test it. Unreal, it's like a brand new washing machine. I also ordered 4 new coil burners for my electric stove, but I digress. I cannot explain how happy I am with how fast and correct my order came to my door. It was shipped Monday, and I recieved it Tuesday before I got home from work. Kudos, you now have a customer for life. Your prices are amazing. For the kit and 4 new burners my order was less than 80 dollars. Thank you, thank you, thank you!! 

Looked on the internet for the best prices for my model number. By far Appliance Parts Pros.com had the best price. My husband disconnected power from the stove , and evaluated the damage.The wiring was not damaged, and the stovetoop cleaned up well. By plugging in the new ones. As noted in the comments section from customers, the new elements don't heat up as fast. Thank you guys for not hiding comments like that, It was very helpful to know what to expect. And it's not a negative thing, either. The reason might run from new government standards to different materials used. 

Manufacturer no longer offered parts for my model. Your website accurately identified a perfect replacement, which slipped in easily, works like new.

New elements 

One 6" burner coil had fused to bottom of enameled tea kettle that boiled dry. Pried kettle free with screw driver & dressed off enamel blob from burner with a file. Hand re-bent damaged burner coil to lie approximately flat for temporary use. Hey, it worked, even if pots weren't level. Final permanent solution was to purchase replacement burner element from your illustrated catalog per Frigidaire Range Model #. Fit perfectly & heated right up on first try. All 4 original burner drip pans had corroded or stained badly from cooking spills. One had actually perforated. Initially tried some after-market "universal" drip pans that were a poor fit. Returned those to Wal-Mart and ordered the proper replacement drip pans from your catalog as above. Fit perfectly right out of the shipping bag. Now that I know where to look on-line to find what repair parts any of my home appliances will ever need, I am sure we will do more business. Your on-line catalog is easy to search -- aided by exploded parts diagrams; your on-line order entry was simple & your e-mailed shipment alert/product delivery were very prompt. Thanks! 

Ordered new burners and dip pans. 

I ordered new drip pans and elements for that model number. I put in the drip pans. The elements took a bit of work. First you stab the elements into the unseen holes. But then you have to get the other side of the element into the slotted holder. If you don't squeeze the little black springy holder the element won't snap in. Make sure the drip pan is rotated so that the slot in the little springy holder is lined up with the end of the element. And then squeeze the holder as close to the drip pan as you can and the element will spring into the slot as you push it down. As you clean the drip pans time after time the springy holder will disappear somewhere and you will just sit the element in the drip pan. But it's worth it. The stove looks like new.
