How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP2136846 / 5303051140 Broil Element (Top Of Oven)

Took old one out . Put new one in. 

Ordered a new one and installed it 

I ordered the bake & broil elements to replace ours. My oven was heating up to only 350° when I needed a temp of 375° when baking. So… these elements were in dire need! We got our Frigidaire stove for a wedding gift from my husband’s parent in July of 1999. (They are no longer with us. We lost them both in 2010 & this is why this stove is so precious to me to keep working) We had only replaced the baking element in 2016 & now replaced both bake & broil elements. My oven works like new once again… (knock on wood) I was very pleased that these came so quickly in the mail to us. I put both elements in with my husband helping & I got to bake all my cookies, breads & pies for Christmas! I saved your website so we could use it again if any unforeseen repairs are needed. We replaced the old Broil Element with a new one. 

Unscrewed old one, installed new one. 

Ordered the parts, watched the videos and installed it and the lower element without any problems. Absolutely love this company. Easy to order, fast delivery and included videos to help me through it! Highly recommending this to other friends and family. 

I replaced it with a new element from appliancepartspros, I ordered both elements on a Wednesday and received both the next day, was absolutely amazed at how fast it arrived, was an easy fix, thanks appliancepartspro for the quick shipment 

Removed back panel and unplugged the element and then removed the screws on the inside. Removed the elements and installed the new ones. 

Searched online for parts. Found Appliance Parts Pros. Their site has a search by model number for appliances. Found my parts and they were in stock. Ordered Monday night and had them in hand Wednesday afternoon. Perfect fit. 

Removed one screw, then unplugged old element, used twist ties on wires to keep them from going back into the back of the stove, plugged in new element. Reinstalled hanging bracket, with one screw, then put in the screw to mount element. Simple and very easy. Replaced bake element too, removed two screws, one on each side. Unplugged wires, and used twist ties to hold in the oven, plugged in new element and installed screws. Simple and easy.
