Barb October 26, 2019 I need a broiler element for an older Tappan oven at least 10 years old. Don't have model number but manual just says Frigidaire electric range ES200 control, self-cleaning oven with coil cooktop even though it says Tappan on the oven itself. Not sure what to buy.

It arrived and was about to install, but have a melting of the "connector" or the wiring clamp to which I attach the element, and I'm not sure if it is safe to attach it to what I have left of the wiring connection. 1 Answer Lavel, The model number [MGF500PBWL] indicates hat the range is a "gas" burner unit and doesn't have a bake or broil element. The [MEF500PBWC] is an electric range,and has elements.
