How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3965251 / 154106202 Heating Element Nut

I replaced the Heating and drying element in the dishwasher because the old one was completely caked with calcium deposits. I tried to clean the old element with CLR, etc. It did not work. Replacing the element worked perfectly and the dishwasher was saved for under $50. Appliance partspros.com had the exact replacement element. it was inexpensive and arrived quickly.

Replaced heating element nuts 

It was a easy fix. Removed dishwasher from cabinet. Removed electric wire connections and nut, Replaced nut with a new one. reinstalled wires and dishwasher. 

Ordered 2 heating element brass nuts. Ordered parts and they arrived the next day. 

Installed new heating element nuts as per your great instructions. received parts in 2 days. 

I ordered the heating element and the two nuts, and replaced in less than 1/2 hour; works great now. The video on the site was helpful to show the steps in replacing the element. 

Was caused by water leak at heater. Replaced heater element, wire terminal end and protective sleeve. Entire repair took only a few minutes. 

Reviewed video on AppliancePartsPro and ordered parts... Replaced heater coil and both nuts, very simple repair. Parts arrived in two days, dishwasher was fixed in minutes. 

Bought a replacement nut for the heater.
