I found the source of the leak by taking the kick-plate off and laying on the floor with a flashlight pointed below the washer as I started the wash cycle up. As soon as I saw the location of the leak I turned the washer off and drained it (by starting a cycle and shutting it off quickly before the fill cycle started again.) At first I thought the leak was caused by a bad washer on the heating element, but after inspection I could tell the washers looked good, but the heating element nut was split. A little research on AppliancePartsPros.com confirmed the diagnosis and I ordered the heating element nut. Once I received it, installation took less then 15 minutes and the leak was fixed.
