How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3850969 / 5304445529 Door Hinge Kit

We ordered the parts and watched a 3 minute video. It was such an easy task! And it saved us $150 in labor fees from the appliance repair company who diagnosed the problem. Great money saving option!! Thanks! 

First I watched video on You tube, then removed oven door , took out screws , replaced the springs, then put it together again, took all of 10-15 minutes, plus the time to clean the glass that was yucky in between, that was fun. t works better than when new now. Donald 

I replaced the faulty and damaged parts. Most of the time required was spent cleaning oven grease off of the door parts. The only hard part was removing the rusted door trim which was stuck to the glass front panel. 

Replaced the hinges 

Installed new hinges. 

After changing the hinges and rollers it still was open, so I used a wooden block to bend the door back. Basically the experts were wrong, it was a bent door frame, not bad hinges. but the new hinges do look nice!

Replaced the oven door hinges. Perfect fit, fixed the problem. Took me less than 30 monutes. 

I replaced the hinges on both sides of the oven door. 

I'm very pleased with AppliancePartPros. I am, what you might call, mechanically challenged.
