Tanya K Indianapolis , IN November 09, 2015 Appliance: Frigidaire Electric Range FEF365BGDD My range is 15 years old and the overlay had cracked over each of the buttons Google was my best friend! Found a couple of YOU TUBE videos pertinent to my issue. Very first thing- UNPLUGGED THE RANGE! I took the back off my stove first, very simple just removed 6 screws. Then, to get to the overlay, I had to remove the front panel with the control knobs (2 screws, located under the control knobs, one on each side). There were two more screws directly under the overlay (needed my socket wrench for these). Once those were out, overlay came out easily. Peeled off old overlay, then removed back and affixed new one. Easily done, just be sure to line up. Don't forget to remove the protective film on the front of the new one, also. Put overlay back in place, replaced those two screws, then replaced the front panel and the two screws under the knobs. Replaced the back panel, plugged it in and was good as new! Elaine R Oconomowoc , WI August 29, 2015 Appliance: Frigidaire Electric Range FEF369CGSC Our overlay pad had been used so much that it could no longer be read We unplugged the stove, unscrewed the assembly on the backboard, unpeeled the damaged overlay, cleaned the sticky residue, reapplied the new overlay, then reassembled the backboard. We had to repeat the reassembly after realizing that the oven vent fan had not been properly replaced facing the stove top after the first effort. We had watched a YouTube movie about the procedure before attempting it. We did have the square-notch screw head needed for this job.
