How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP3160597 / 5303918277 Replacement Icemaker

I bought a new one and installed it. It works perfectly . 

Replaced the ice maker and in about 1hr was making ice. The appliance is an 18yr old side by side from Frigidaire. 

Bought replacement ice maker. 

I replaced it. The printed instructions had very small pictures and did not tell me how to access the water fill adjustment screw. However, the video that came with this survey showed the work very clearly and I was able to perform it with ease. Thank you. 

I ordered a replacement icemaker from AppliancePartsPros.com. The part arrived in a week. The instruction video that was provided was great and I was able to install the part without issue. 

Super easy fix. Two screws and one plug. Works great now after ignoring the leaky one for 4 years! 15 minute fix! 

This was a replacement unit. So far so good. I have ordered from Appliance Parts before! AAAA+ Thanks ~ AL :-) 

Bought a new ice maker unit. 

After searching on your site for parts and troubleshooting, I was confident I was ordering the right part for the problem. The install video was perfect. Part arrived and I had it installed in less than 5 minutes. You might want to add that the ice maker will cycle a full run before trying to add water. This is a good thing as you don’t want it requesting water to fill the tray while you are still installing the ice maker. (I did not turn the power off on mine.) It has been running since. 

Replace ice maker. The replacement ice maker had a broken plastic part. The plastic water inlet was broke. I took the one off old ice maker. Took extra 5 minutes but all turned out well.
