How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4368860 / 134786100 Sensor-Moisture

Vane - Removed the top cover (2 square screws). Spin the dryer until the vane of interest is at the top. Remove 3 (square) screws, replace vane and reinstall. Moisture Sensor - Remove phillips screw holding sensor in place. Reattach 2 leads (can be tricky) and reinstall. Longest part of this task was accessing the back of the dryer given its location in a closet. 

Was able to find and order the part quickly. Got the part within 2 days of ordering it and was able to replace the sensor immediately, because all I had to do was clip the 2 wires back onto the back of the sensor and screw it back into place. 

I screwed the old part and put on the new. 

Took out old sensor ans replaced it with a new one. 

Had to order new part, old part got deformed too much to use again. Simple fix took 5 minutes to do with a Philip's screwdriver. 

First I unplugged the unit. Second I used a number #2 Phillips screwdriver to remove the one screw holding the sensor. The biggest magic happened when Appliancepartspros.com sent the part out in one day! Awesome service without the overnight shipping price tag. Thanks Again Appliancepartspros. Replaced with new one 

Well, I Googled the model number of our dyer and this site came up with the three most commonly purchased parts. Then, I searched the problem on YouTube. This clip came up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jRj8Lm99xw The part arrived in two fast days, and I repaired the dryer myself! Thank you! 

We purchased a new sensor from appliance part pros for an extremely reasonable price and self-installed. It was a 5 minute fix! The part fits perfectly and we were able to use our dryer immediately. Problem solved!
