David C Ogdensburg , NY January 05, 2015 Washer will not spin at point in the cycle I removed the back cover and top cover of the washer. Checked all connections and motor belt. Consulted the wiring and troubleshooting guide sitting inside the machine. Followed the troubleshooting steps which included checking voltage and amperage to the motor and speed control board. After all the checks determined that the speed control board was at fault, I ordered a new board. Received the new board within a couple of days and installed. Worked immediately. No issues since. Gary T Shady , NY November 10, 2014 Appliance: Model ELECTROLUXE COIN WASHING MACHINE Agitator stopped turning on electroluxe washing machine While just normally using the machine, suddenly I hear a fzzzt sound, and smell burning circuits. Subsequently the agitator did not move at all, but all the other functionality did work, filling water, dumping in the soap, venting the water, etc. The machine did everything else right. So, it could have been the timer, the motor control board, or the motor. I guessed at the board, and I guessed right. After I had removed the old one, it was obvious that that was the problem, as there were burnt spots on the PC board, didn't see that before replacing it though. A good conclusion, it would have been a huge hassle and cost otherwise, instead of the $165.00 that AppliancePros charged. Read More...
