When the problem began you could unplug the dryer, wait a few minutes, plug it back in and it would work for days without issues. Finally, it would run for about 1 minute and the flashing lights would come on without touching the buttons. The electronic control board was the failure, the control board also has the switch buttons incorporated which made sense with the codes occurring. We also have the Affinity washer that was part of the pair, it too has required a control board replacement (weak point for sure). I replaced the drum bearing, belt idler assembly, belt, door switch and upper felt seal as maintenance items on the 11-year-old dryer. I also found the seals for the blower housing were in bad shape and replaced them. It took more time cleaning the old glue off of the surfaces than the repairs
