Replaced the burner, pan, ceramic block and the control. The control was the problem replacing it.
1.) control did NOT match the "B" type with regard to connection placement on the instruction sheet.
2.) The Instruction sheet was dated 1988! How about a revised sheet with the CORRECT diagram of the back of the control.
3.) H1 connection is actually 2 pins. Which is confusing in the least and can contribute to mis connections of H1 and H2 which causes a short circuit and trips the breaker! GE/ROBERTSHW needs to CLEARLY MARK THESE.
4.) Connection Markings are not placed NEXT TO THE CONNECTION to clearly mark them. Locations are somewhat vague due to this. GE/Robertshaw should re design the marking diagrams.
Otherwise installation of the Control was fairly painless, and took about an hour to replace all parts and power up.
