How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2635055 / WB32X10013 8 Inch Drip Pan

New brighter, stronger replacements! 

Replaced the burner, pan, ceramic block and the control. The control was the problem replacing it. 1.) control did NOT match the "B" type with regard to connection placement on the instruction sheet. 2.) The Instruction sheet was dated 1988! How about a revised sheet with the CORRECT diagram of the back of the control. 3.) H1 connection is actually 2 pins. Which is confusing in the least and can contribute to mis connections of H1 and H2 which causes a short circuit and trips the breaker! GE/ROBERTSHW needs to CLEARLY MARK THESE. 4.) Connection Markings are not placed NEXT TO THE CONNECTION to clearly mark them. Locations are somewhat vague due to this. GE/Robertshaw should re design the marking diagrams. Otherwise installation of the Control was fairly painless, and took about an hour to replace all parts and power up. 

I purchased cheap pans but they didn't fit~~several times. I looked at ordering them but for some reason I just couldn't get to the right place to find them. Christmas is at my house this year and desperation forced me to google for the stove brand and parts. It took me two searches but I found ApplianceParts PROS. The drip pans looked right and with a money return policy and debit card in hand, I took the next step and ordered all 4 replacements. Returning home from work 2 days later, a box was at my door and I gleamed inside knowing they were HERE. I opened the box and slipped the shiny new drip pans right into place and began cooking dinner. It was so easy I keep wondering why it took me so long to order them. Thanks AppliancePartsPros. 

Anywhere. I got lucky here and found what was needed. They came in two days and make the unit look almost like new. Wife is HAPPY !! 

Took out old and replaced with new. 

These are drop in items, no install problems. Everything fit perfectly. 

A new small burner simply plugged in made the four burner range fully functional, and new pans and rings made this quarter-century old appliance sparkle like new. 

01/27/17 Relace with new ones 

Bought new ones 

We had a generic drip pan and an old G.E. P-7 stove and a new element. Once I got the right drip pan it is working really well. The ring was an after thought, but I'd forgotten that was the way it was originally. I was nervous when I ordered that it was not going to be chrome based on the picture but it was and now all s well!
