How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3186376 / WB30T10074 Large Surface Element

I lifted the front hood and removed the back control panel cover. I then replaced two terminal blocks with the new kits. Perfect match except wires were a bit long. So I rolled them up neatly and tucked them away at the control center. Used electrical tape to band both sets of wire and protect them from the metal edges between the range and control area. I replaced the control cover and installed two new burners. Perfect installation. 

I replaced all 4 burners and drip pans and they are a perfect fit. 

I ordered 2 new 8" elements along with the correct drip pans. I also ordered the replacement control switch and wiring plug/harness. Watched the Appliance Parts Pros repair videos and everything is working as designed. 

I ordered OEM replacement parts from you and quickly replaced the generic parts with parts that fit exactly and the problem was corrected.

I ordered the correct General Electric replacement 8-inch coil burner element and the also the burner bowl and replaced each part of the affected burner. The replacement parts were of much higher quality than the cheap, imported junk burner and bowl. The design of the burner bowl is very different. Now the burner works as expected. It is level and solid without movement and the pots and pans sit firmly on the burner and are very stable. 

Replaced surface burner terminal block and also replaced large surface element. Short video provided on how to replace surface burner terminal block was definitely great help as it made things really easy to remove and replace broken part with new one. 

Super easy! I couldn’t believe it came overnight!
