How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3965155 / WH43X10034 Agitator Assembly

Followed the video and worked just fine. This was the second time this washer has done this. 

Based upon the video that I saw, it looked like a very low cost and attainable repair, especially for someone with no mechanical skills. I ordered the washer agitator coupler kit and new agitator arm from AppliancePartsPros.com. The order arrived in two days. I only needed a 7/16 socket to make the repair. The video was spot on, and I was back in business in less than 15 minutes. Putting the tools away took longer than the fix. My wife was ready to buy a new washing machine. I went on the site and saved about $700. 

Replaced the agitator. 

Watched the video and saw how easy it was to replace that I ordered it that day.

After researching online, I ordered a new agitator and coupler. It was fast delivery. Both were easy to install, especially after watching the video. The clothes now don’t get wrapped around the agitator. We also watch how to place those types of clothes in the washer. Another option to also consider is a washer clothes bag for clothes with strings and straps. We fixed the problem for under $50 dollars. 

Ordered the part from you and got it a couple days later.went on YouTube and saw how to replace agitator and saved myself about $100.00 not having a repair man do it. 

The repair was easy, watching the video on repair site and installation took 15 minutes max! Washer design means I will probably replace again. 

I searched GE for the parts, agitator and coupler ( MUCH more expensive at GE!). Web searched for parts and found Appliance parts pros and ordered the parts (same exact part numbers) watched the video they have posted on the same page, BTW THANK YOU VERY MUCH for adding the softener cup doesn’t come with new agitator so I pulled the old one out of broken part! I don’t think the GE site said that in description. Parts were supposed to be here in about a week and a half so I made arrangements to do laundry at daughters house, BUT THURSDAY four days after ordering, the parts were delivered!!!!!! Saturday, yes 1 week later, I put the coupler in washer tighten it down with wrench and pushed on new agitator. DONE in less than 5 minutes!!!! Started washing clothes and went about my Saturday chores. Worked GREAT!!! THANK YOU SOO MUCH!!!! Just an added note I am a woman of 52 years, who just didn’t want to call the repair person.
