How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5657391 / WD22X10084 Upper Arm Spray Assembly

Very simply reattached arm and bushing with small ratchet and socket, without having to remove upper basket. 

Replaced all three rinse arms as they are not designed to be pulled apart, cleaned, and reassembled. It was very easy to switch them out, but do note that the parts don't come with the associated screws and washers, so save them from the arms you remove! 

I bought new spray arms. They were the exact parts I needed and they arrived five days earlier than expected. I installed them after viewing the online video for my dishwasher. 

We bought the parts above (after trying to clean out our own parts, which had an endless supply of detergent/mineral deposits in them) and my wife put them in while I was at work. The hard water here, and let's face it, a kind of cheap dishwasher, has meant we are not crystal clear, but it is a huge improvement. All the dishes get clean, even if the glasses aren't spotless. Probably bought us another 3-4 years on this appliance, which will get us to our planned (heh) kitchen remodel. 

Replaced all three sprayer arms and the filter on bottom of dishwasher. 

I removed the spray arms and realized they were all clogged with pieces of plastic and other debris (not food). I just moved into my new home and inherited this dishwasher. After spending over an hour trying to remove the plastic unsuccessfully, I ordered all new spray assemblies (upper, middle and lower). 

Replaced old parts with new, watched some youtube videos to see how to dismantle. 

Very straight forward replacements. I used a socket wrench to remove/replace the spray arms. Your website made it very easy for me to find the right parts.
