How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2031061 / WB44X10009 Bake Element

Replaced element. 

Replaced the two pieces I ordered. 

After ordering the part and receiving it in two days. It took only a few minutes and the oven was good as new. I didn't have to run around looking for part and had the to do it yourself video if I needed help. Really a one-stop do it all company. 

Removed two screws of the backing plate from the old heating element, then had to use a flat head screwdriver to help loosen the connectors (20 yr old oven). Loosening the connectors was the hardest part. After that the new element went on easy and fired it up with no issues. 

Ordered a new element, watched your easy install video and did the job myself in less than 15 minutes. A service call would have costed several hundred dollars, with parts and labor. 

Removed and replaced 

It took 5 minutes to unscrew and replace if that. 

I ordered the part from these guys. It came in 2 days. After it sat on my couch for a week, my husband only spent 5 minutes putting it in.it works great. 

\Put my model number in google but when I went to different sites I was getting totally different model numbers pop up. Finally pulled up chat on Appliancepartspros and explained my problem. Got an answer and ordered my part in less than 5 mins. Was told delivery ranged 3-5 days and got it in less than 24 hours. Ha Better than Prime LoL. Read the instructions on the web page, then watched a you tube to be sure. Simple easy and oven works great now. 

I found the part online, and did some careful measuring to insure I had the correct one. Placed the order, it arrived within 2 days. Since we'd already removed the old part, we just had to plug this one into the wires and turn it on. I used it the same day, and it worked perfectly! I would highly recommend this company for their detailed descriptions of parts, ease of ordering, and quick delivery. Will use them again if I need something in the future!
