How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2031008 / WB44X134 Oven Broil Kit

As a new widow, your instructions were so clear that I was able to fix my oven's broiler in just a few days. I couldn't read my old 1962 GE model number tag so I turned off the oven circuit breaker and disconnected the broiler. Once I saw how the element was connected to the wires, I was able to pick out a similar element. It was pretty basic. I got the element within 2 days and had it in place and everything back together within an hour. Thank you for your clear instructions, it really in powered me. 

Ordered and installed new coil, 

Our ovens heating elements were worn out abd causing burnt food and uneven heating. I had replaced the heating elements before many years ago. The oven was put new into the house in 1983. But because i could replace the heating elements i was not having to replace it. 

After much hunting found part number, then found the part at your place. The correct part shipped quickly and installed with some contortions. Works just fine. Thanks Don 

The fix went very smoothly. 

I ordered the replacement element, which fit perfectly. 4 screws held in the old element. Once removed, the replacement went right in. 

I ordered the part from Appliance Parts Pros. The unit arrived in less than 48 hours which was amazing and very welcomed. I used a socket set, pliers and a screw driver to replace the unit. It took only a few minutes to take the old unit out and install the new unit.
