Karen A Parkville , MD August 28, 2018 Broken dryer switch. Unfortunately, after the plastic knob broke, my spouse decided to use pliers to turn the timer switch, which eventually ate away the plastic switch. The new parts came quickly, as ordered, and the repair was far easier than I anticipated! You tube was helpful in taking off the control panel without breaking the plastic tabs. The parts I received from AppliancePartsPros were genuine parts and after switching all of the colored wires from the old switch to the new switch, voila! All I needed as far as tools, were a philips head screw driver for the panel and a small “star” bit and driver for the screw that mounts the switch to the panel. So happy to be able to fix this mishap without breaking the bank on a company to do it for me!! Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Screwdrivers
