How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2015707 / WB3X5699 Clock Knob Kit

Replacement. I was surprised a perfect replacement was available for a 25 year old stove. 

Ordered parts from you using model number with pictures of needed parts 

Checked with you, cant believe I still found parts I needed to fix such an old oven. I followed someone else repair that thought the oven didn't work. Worked great! 

Replaced the switch. 

I ordered new clock knobs from appliancepartspros.com. They arrived quickly. I removed the knobs from the well packaged shipment and slipped them onto the clock. 

I ordered a new element, but when I went to replace it, the problem was one of my conduit thingy-ma-doodles attached to the end of the wire that attaches to the element. I watched a video online on the website where I bought the element(appliancepartspros.com) on the same issue, went to Menards and got a comparable conduit, connected it to the end of my wire and attached my new element. Oven works great!!! :-) 

Removed and replaced element. Take the door off for easier access. Part was delivered within two days of placing the order! 

I followed the video instructions for the oven element and it was a straight forward fix. The knobs were a simple push on to install. NOTE: Don't clean old knobs in the dishwasher. The paint comes off! 

Nothing to it but one needed bent back with pliers, go me!
