How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP7204355 / WD21X31910 Dishwasher User Interface Control Board

Had constant power to the control panel, so ordered new control panel through AppliancePartsPros.com and that took care of the issue. Easy installation.

Troubleshooting, main board had power and was supplying power to interface control board (14vdc). I purchase interface board and used tutorial video to repair. While repair on video was not exactly like my unit it was very helpful. I have stainless tub so door liner was attached with tork screws and hinges did not come out to remove liner. Everything else was the same and made repair easy. 

My dishwasher wouldn't turn on. Had a repair person come and he determined that the main board was ok and it was the control board that needed replacing. They wanted over $600 including parts and labor to replace the control board. I replaced the control board.myself. It was easy and saved on the labor costs. The video on the website was very easy to follow along to replace the part.

I was able to visit APP, watch a,video or two, follow along and complete the repair. I’m just a regular guy who didn’t want to pay for an appliance repair person to come out to my home and charge a service fee. The repair was easy enough and I would recommend APP to anyone.
