How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3994965 / WH01X10310 Control Knob Assembly

Removed dial and replaced with new one 

Replaced the control box and knobs. 

I removed the 3 screws at back to release backsplash after taking out the knobs.I then released the timer by removing 1 screw and the broken backsplash was extracted. I then connected the timer, load size and temperature controls to the new backsplash, slide same into position and replaced the three screws. Mission was accomplished in less than 10 minutes!!!! 

Replaced with new one 

Couple parts and it worked again 

Had a friend use my washer. They forced the timer backward and it broke inluding the knob. Ordered the parts and they were here lightning quick. Right parts at a great price. Removed the timer as per the illustration. Had it fixed in no time. Thank guys. 

Popped of the old knob and on with the new. Piece of cake, problem solved. 

It can't be fixed, the only way is replaced a new one control knob, it turns greats now. 

First of all I read the manual next I followed all the instruction , not even a minute and done its easy 

Went online and viewed a video to learn how to change the knob. Ordered my part from Appliance Parts Pro, as I had in the past for other parts due to price and serice, the part arrived within a few days, and the repair was complete in less than a week.
