How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3681780 / WB02X11025 General Electric Range Hood Fan Blade

I ordered replacement parts and paid a licensed electrician that does work for us to make the repair. Used everything except the Fan and Light switches. The old ones worked out just find. But you never know ahead of time when you're trying to repair old items. 

It was very easy. I just removed the clips and replaced the fan blade and the clip. 

Order the fan at Appliancepartspros and it was the exact one. Fan works fine now. Shipping was amazingly fast, only took two days to arrive in Texas. 

The part number did not match with any I could find but when I measured the size needed and could see the one inch squares in the photo background I thought I it looked like it would work. I submitted a question online about the diameter of the fan blade and received a prompt reply. I also checked the fan blade size in the same apartment complex and compared the look of the blade to the online photo. I ordered the part and it came in two days. The fan blade fit perfect. We matched flat area with flat area on the fan and pushed it on. The fan was fixed in about 10 minutes. 

The replacement part was delivered very quickly, which really impressed me. I saw the claim about the fast delivery but, to be honest, didn't really expect it. I've now made this site a favorite for the future. Anyway, after removing the filter and the six screws to remove the fan motor assembly, the old piece just broke off completely when I tried to remove it. Pushed the new piece onto the motor (this took a little bit of effort as it is a tight fit), replaced the motor assembly (with the six screws) and job done. Whole thing took less than 10 minutes.
