Eric H Indianapolis , IN November 17, 2017 Appliance: Model GTH21GCEBBB Evap fan motor. Refrigerator not getting cold, very little air blowing out of lower vent in freezer plus had a loud noise from frozen ice so I let that thaw out prior to the motor going out completely thinking that was the issue at first. So I took the fan cover off the part where you can adjust how cold you want , i saw that the fan wasn’t spinning at all, so I figured that was pretty much the issue. I took it apart then searched online to find the motor. And appliancepartspros, had one of the cheapest prices plus had what I needed in stock unlike other companies. I ordered it Sun. night and it arrived Tuesday around 2pm. Definitely worth the shipping price. We were using a cooler for a few days. When it arrived I just put it back on and put it all back together . Just a few screws and the little cords to clamp back in. It was a peace of cake. Way way cheaper then calling someone out and then paying for labor. Not as hard or difficult as we think it would be for this particular issue. I did order the fan too, but didn’t need it, just gonna put it up. Pretty cheap, not worth the shipping back hassle and stuff. Read More...
