How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP6889049 / WE09X27634 Dryer Lower Drum Felt Seal

I got on your website looking at parts and with videos and having the dryer torn apart found the causes and replaced it with the parts needed. Probably bought more parts than needed but while apart, why not, cheaper than a repairman 

At first, I took a screwdriver and pushed it back into the slot it came from but it just kept coming back out. I then went on the internet to find a parts list just to find out what the thing was. I came across Appliance Parts Pros which not only showed the part but also included a video which showed how easy it was to replace the part. I ordered it and received the part in two days. It was easy to replace and besides, when I took the front panel off the dryer, I discovered that the air exhaust vent was almost plugged with lint. We could have had a fire! I have kept the exhaust hose clean but I didn't know that it could get plugged up inside the dryer! The dryer wasn't working efficiently because the air could just verily get out the discharge vent. The dryer is 10 years old and I had never had the front panel off. I cleaned out the vent and replaced the part and the dryer works like new! Thanks Applicance Parts Pros!!! 

Replaced drum support and slides. 

Replaced the motor, felt drum seal and, bearing sliders. The hardest part of the repair was putting the dryer belt back on! The teardown and rebuild were quite simple, just time-consuming. 

I replaced the rear drum bearing, all four slides, and front top bearing support. Replacement of parts was easy and didn't take that long to do. Problem solved. 

Found information on your website and parts to fix the problems. Videos were extremely helpful and made the repairs very quick and easy. Dryer quiet now and runs like new. 

Replaced the drive motor. 

Took it apart and put it back together with new parts. 

On Saturday I called a service company to repair my Dryer. They weren't able to come fix it till Wednesday. So Sunday night I search for a parts supplier. Your website came up first. I entered the model# and all parts needed and how to fix video came up. I ordered the parts with a very reasonable overnight delivery charge. The parts came in on Tuesday. I clicked on the how to fix video and the dryer was fixed in less than an hour. I saved $200 by fixing it myself. Thank you very much, Gary 

I replaced bearing support and 2 bearings; very easy job; while in there I also replaced felt for drum.
