How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP6031713 / WE03X23881 Lint Filter

I put the new one in because the screen in the old one was torn. 

Ordered a new one. What do you do when you have a once in a decade snow. Give your clothes dryer a deep clean. 

Bought a replacement that was an exact fit 

Replaced lint filter with a filter from Appliance Pro Parts. My filter had been bad for while , and I didn't know to fix it. I remembered that I had recently repaired a problem with the heating element for our Range , with the purchase of element from Appliance Pro Parts. 

Bought a new filter screen 

We replace the part 

I ordered the part and replaced it. 

Ordered and installed the replacement part. 

Ordered the part via the website. Part came in and I replaced the broken lint trap filter. 

Ordered a new filter. I had to size down a little with my sander to fit properly. Works great!
