How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5272249 / WB07X11346 Grille Ss

Unscrewed the old and replaced with the new! Very easy to replace. 

The microwave itself worked fine; but the Vent Grill on the top of the micro which is housed right under a cabinet just "fell" while I was cooking. I purchased this condo and this appliance was already installed. Since this is a convection/microwave oven, I decided to see if I could salvage micro. Cleaned out micro really good, cleaned filters, etc. Checked on internet; found your company, found part. It arrived like as stated, packaged well. I replaced vent assembly after watch a couple of you tube videos. It wasn't hard at all. 

Removed the old retainer screws and the new one snapped right into place. Easy fix and perfect fit. 

Easy fix - removed 2 Phillips head screws holding broken portion of tabs, then used needle nose pliers to pull out broken pieces. Inserted tabs from new grille into slots and aligned with screw holes at top and screwed in 2 screws. Took all of 5 - 10 minutes to accomplish!

I found the part number on AppliancePartsPros.com. Ordered the part on a 3/29 paid via PayPal! the part arrived at my house on 3/31 and was installed that same day. I removed two screws at the on top front of the microwave cleaned out the broken tabs. Installed the new grill. All completed in under five minutes. It was cheaper and easier to go through appliancepartspros.com than to contact my warranty claims dept and have a tech scheduled to come out to tell me what's broken. Thank you 

I ordered a new grill and replaced. Looks great, like it never happened. 

Found part on AppliancePartsPros.com, ordered part and received it in a couple days. Removed old grill and replaced in a couple minutes. Entire process was a snap.
