How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2020178 / WB10T10007 Door Hinge (Oven)

I followed YouTube Video to for the steps. Used 1/4" nut driver, T15 and T20 Torx drivers to replace the hinges. Re-attaching the door was a bit tricky as one side would seat fully and the other took a few attempts to become fully seated. 

Replaced both! 

I looked at repair videos on YouTube and ordered the part from you. My friend and I did the switch out, which was surprisingly not too difficult! 

I hadn't found your site yet so I ended up cutting the bad hinge with a cut-off blade in a Dermal grinder. I then looked for a replacement part. After looking at three other places and finding the hinge listed as no longer available I found AppliancePartsPros.com. The hinge was listed as in stock so I ordered two so I could replace both sides. I took the door apart one evening, ordered parts the next morning, had an email by noon that the parts had been shipped, and they were delivered the next day late afternoon. It took maybe a half hour to install the new hinges and put the door back on. Had I found this site sooner and seen the parts diagram I may have been able to get the door off more easier as it took me a couple of hours to get the door off to start with. 

I had previously replaced the other hinge, so I ordered another copy of the hinge from AppliancePartsPros.com as before (and it was cheaper than the first time!!!!) and used a video on YouTube to get detailed instructions for removal of the old hinge and installation of the new. It went very smoothly - the hardest part is getting the door back on after the hinge is replaced - you have to be careful to get it in all the way so the notch on the bottom of the hinge rests on the vertical metal piece above which it is inserted. The door works very smoothly now with two new hinges - and way cheaper than calling for service.

I replaced the door hinge and hinge receiver on both sides of the door. Removing the door was difficult because the hinges were worn down so much but once I got it off the repair went really well. 

Replaced Oven Door Hinges 

Ordered hinge receiver and hinge for door. Ordered parts, arrived second day after order; as stated. Installed parts and oven door now closes properly. Hinge door was probably worn out with weak spring and receiver was also slightly worn.
