Even with the filter in the refrigerator, we get lime deposits on the dispenser components that are hard/impossible to clean. After installing an RO system we decided to replace the dispenser components. The design had changed since our refrigerator came out and the video didn't quite match our parts, but after some trial and error we figured it out. Touchpad installation was straightforward. I bought the replacement Dispenser Arm Kit WR49X10228 / AP4436244,and followed the steps in the YouTube video posted by AppliancePartsPros.com.
