Bill, the ice would come through the door and out the door funnel in the dispenser arm kit WR49X10228 while the ice door flapper WR17X11653 is used to seal the opening when ice is not being dispensed.

Joe, Once all the screws are out you will just lift up a little and pull out on the dispenser housing. This is the only way it will come out and there are no tabs holding it.

Hello Trace. Make sure you have all the screws removed. If so, it should come out. You will need to look and see what it is hanging on. I do not see a tab on it.

Hello Isaac, reach under the control and pull out and it will snap out. This will expose the screws which retains the dispenser housing. As a note, do not open this area with the power connected to the unit.

Hello Matt, You should check all connections between the water valve and the dispense tube. Any leak in the line will allow air to enter the water line and if an air bubble is in the system, the water will drip from the dispense tube. A common leak location is around the water reservoir.

Hello Bryan, The spring goes onto the end of the door recess crank and hooks to it on the one end and the other end provide tension against the dispenser shield housing. If you go to this link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JfytU8tO0k , and look at about time 1:29 in the video, you can get an idea of how it should look in the installed position.

Vic, The part that you would need to get to repair the unit is the housing shield dispenser kit WR49X10228. The manufacturer has redesigned this part and you are unable to get the handle for the funnel as a separate part.
