How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3883015 / WB02T10289 Hub Blade Assembly

I took the cover off and the fan had separated from the bushing. Ordered a new fan and nut and it took all of 5 minutes to replace. Probably saved $159.99 service call repair and that is with a coupon. Any one can do this repair, just make sure the oven is cold as you will come in contact with metal parts. 

Replaced the hub blade assembly 

Piece of cake! Just note that the nut holding the blade is a REVERSE thread. 

Replaced convection motor. Since I would have it apart, I replaced the convection fan and nut which was a good idea because the fan bent while trying to remove the fan nut. The convection fan was rusted out and looked terrible so, a very worthwhile replacement. Repair took about an hour because I had to remove the wall unit and this involved disconnecting electrical power and the microwave above the oven. 

Called the appliance store where i purchased the ovens, while i was on the phone with them i was searching the part on appliance pros...it was $55 cheaper!! with shipping!! looked up my repair on you tube, and saved a service call of another $200 :) awesome vendor, and im well pleased Bob from Jersey
