How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2063068 / WR13X10020 Lower Door Hinge Kit

At first, I bought a new refrigerator on line but the next morning I did a little research on line and found AppliancePartsPros and the hinge I needed for a world less than the new refrigerator I had just bought. I ordered the part and cancelled the refrigerator I had just bought. I saved over $700 and my part came via FedEx two days later. Part was a perfect fit. 

Would order the compression fitting for the water line at the same time. Hinge went on easy but had to cut the line as it would not come apart. 

I followed the video as plan and it took a total of 10 minutes to replace after getting the tools and supplies ready. A piece of cake. Easy DIY job. I'm 

I researched the problem on line and found that I needed a lower hinge kit to fix the problem. I ordered the kit and watched the video. When I got the part 2 days later I set about replacing the hinge as shown on the video. First half went well. When it came to replacing the old hinge with the new hinge, one of the screw holes did not line up. After spending 30 minutes crawling on my belly on the kitchen floor to get this far I wasn't going to take it apart again. I drilled a pilot hole in the frame of the refrigerator to line up with the new screw hole. I finished the project and the door closes properly. Happy with the results. 

Replace bottom door hinge. 

10 min. Job. Ordered new hinge and received the hinge with in 4 days. Used wood blocks to support the door removed old hinge and shims & installed new hinge with shims. Done door now will close and seal. Easy fix !! Part was the same as the org. But closer bushing on the old hinge was worn out (gone). Thanks ! 

THE PARTS ARRIVED IN A TIMELY MATTER AFTER I PLACED MY ORDER. UPON OPENING THE PACKAGE I DID THE REPAIRS THE NEXT DAY. I DID REVIEW THE HOW TO VIDEO WHICH HELPED MAKE THE REPLACEMENT REASYIER AND QUICKER. I HAD THE ICE MACHINE REPLACE SEVERAL YEARS BACK BUT THAT IS ONE PROJECT I'M GLAD I DID NOT TACKLE. 

Ordered the correct hinge and cam and replace them. The cam part of the cam was completely sheared off. Once the cam and new hinge were installed, the door closed like new.. Food now nice and cold as it should!.. A little care needs to be applied to ensure the new cam and hinge are seated properly.. Once in 'alignment', both doors will be aligned on the top edge of the doors.. and the door closes easily. 

Very easy to replace with repair video fastest shipping i have ever seen, i ordered on monday @11.15 rec'd tuesday @11.05 ,i just paid standard fed-ex ground shipping !!!! 

I put on your hinge and cam assembly and was done in less than 15 minutes. That included contending with water tube thru hinge and cleaning dust and grease from under refridge!!!
