How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5306623 / WD28X10324 Lower Rack Assembly

Simply installed new rack. Was a good fit relative to the previous rack. Proper width - stays on track. 

Replace basket. GE provided a new basket that was suppose to be a direct replacement. Wheels and thus Over All wheel track width was narrower by about a quarter inch. This caused basket to fall off door. I provided pictures to Appl..Par.. Pros and we determined that using the old (wider) wheels may improve the wheel stance and prevent the rack from falling off the door. I swapped the two front most wheels and it appears to be working. Thank you Luci J and Barry for your assistance. 

Ordered on Wednesday afternoon, delivered Friday - wow! Slid right in, fits fine, very happy! 

Bottom lower tray just rolled into dishwasher, top dish rack called Appliance Pros for directions on how to remove the end inserts, reverted us to the web for a video to view & then just rolled the new rack in place & reinserted the end caps to hold into place. Due wish we knew about the new end caps would of ordered those as the old ones were hard to get out, other than that the order process, delivery & customer service were excellent. 

Just replaced old rack with new one 

Purchased new bootm rack, slid right in, has worked great. Layout of rack is slightly different, may be more durable than last rack. 

Replaced the entire bottom dish rack with a new one. 

I bought the GE replacement rack for my model, the quiet triton dishwasher. I wasn't sure about the size and fit because the description says 23" and the old rack is 22" deep, but it fits perfectly. The layout and silverware basket are different than the original, but I actually prefer the new style and the rack itself is much lighter (less metal to rust-out?). I bought the rack from appliance pros because of their guarantee, in case it didn't fit. Very happy with my purchase and delivery was, literally, less than 2 days. 

Replacing a dishwasher rack is easy so there's no story to tell in that regard. What bears mentioning is the fast ship time. I had the replacement rack within only a couple days of ordering. 

We replaced the bottom rack ENTIRELY. It has made SUCH a difference. LIke having a new washer.
