How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3794968 / WH12X10276 Lid Switch Magnet

Searched out with multi tester where the power died I’m from the swimming pool service industry ,so pumps ,heater boards and switch links are on my radar ( plus formerly trained as a mechanic in Army ) 

Website walked me through the problem. Great experience. 

Youtube and your part. Worked just as youtube said it would. Easy cheap fix and no repairman calls. 

Replaced the lid magnet. Replaced the lid switch. 

Replaced sensor in machine. The repairman who assessed the issue quoted me $375 to replace the part and labor. Thanks to your company, I did it myself for a fraction of the price and was jumping for joy when I tested the washer after installing the new sensor. 

Called APPLIANCE PARTS PROS and gave them the information regarding the washing machine and they walked me through what the most common problems could be !! I ordered the parts for the repair ( all in stock !!) quick shipping and Wam Bam the repair is done man !! The unit runs great again ! Replaced the lid lock switch 

I checked the motor trouble code light and found no errors with the motor system. I temporarily “jumpered the wires to the lid switch and found the problem. Ordered the new part and had it two days earlier than estimated delivery. I followed a you tube video and within 15 minutes was putting a load of clothes in. I have repaired my refrigerator, and dryer with parts from appliancepartspros, each time the service was timely and the parts fit and worked! Thank you !! 

Replaced disconnected lid switch, installed missing lid switch magnet.
