How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2031031 / WB44X200 Oven Bake Element

This close to Christmas, I dreaded having to buy a new oven. When I went online, this website was easy to use and after entering the model number, I found and ordered the part. To my surprise, it arrived on Tuesday and the video that showed how to replace it was great. Thanks for everything. Cheap repair instead of costly oven.

My General Electric wall stove is over 30 years old and this is not the first time the element burned out. We were able to find the necessary part at AppliancePartsPros.com with no problem which was a big relief! The only issue we had was the delivery time: instead of the average delivery time of 1.7 days that was advertised, it took 10 days to receive the new element. 

Bought a replacement that match the part number and installed it myself. It took about 15 minutes to install. and now my oven works great 

This was an easy repair. Simply remove the two screws from the mounting bracket, then remove two screws that connect the element with the wire connectors, and remove old element. Then, simply connect new element, and replace the two screws. Attach the mounting bracket, and repair is finished. Be sure to de-energize oven before repair. 

Removed warped element and replaced with new element, total work time ten minutes.
