Our built in oven's broiler have up the ghost, and self servicing gas appliances is something I hestitated about.
According to Google search, the likely culprit was the igniter, but I wanted to make sure.
So I started a chat session with the support staff here, and they were great : first i had a chat about how to diagnose the issue with a multi meter. Taking the back panels off gave me access, (after disconnecting the electric and gas of course), and I was able to test the continuity of the igniters, and the one for the broiler was indeed faulty when compared to the one still working.
Then I ordered the part, and it arrived within a day, even though I did not pay for expedited shipping. So spot on service there. The replacement was pretty straight forward as well, and the broiler fired up in the first try after.
So I appreciate the help via chat, the prompt shipping, and this is my 3rd time ordering from this site and the experience has been consistently excellent.
