How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3202322 / WB13T10045 Oven Igniter Assembly

I ordered a replacement from appliancepartspros.com then removed the old one and then installed the new one I had ordered. 

After ordering the part and looking at the instructions on the video, the repair took less than 1/2 hour. Excellent customer service and quick shipping of the part at reasonable cost. 

Replaced igniter 

Replaced oven igniter. Oven now lights in 40 seconds 

I started to notice oven was intermittently heating up. Some days it reach desired temperature and sometimes would not heat up at all. After reading similar stories I decided the problem could be one of two part failures. The igniter assembly or the heat sensor arm. I ordered both. The ordering process was painless and the parts showed up the next day. After watching video on how to replace and a few turns of the nut driver the oven was up and running perfectly thirty minutes later! My wife hates this site because she wants new Appliances but appliance pros make it too easy to fix them yourself! 

Ordered new one 

I ordered a new igniter because the current one wasn't turning on. I got the part and when installing the new one I noticed the gas pipe had a big hole in it by the igniter. So I ordered the pipe and igniter mounting screws as well. Very easy to install everything with simple tools. One caveat, when I was trying to remove the old igniter the screws broke off in the bracket. Luckily I needed the new gas pipe and it comes with the bracket. 

Screwed in new igniter . I was gonna buy a new range saved me mega bucks. 

Replaced Igniter and it works fine. 

Removed the old ignitor, ordered a new one from the AppliancePartsPros.com and then installed it. Super easy!
