How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3202322 / WB13T10045 Oven Igniter Assembly

I tested the outlet at the wall and inline plug that would snap into the oven igniter assembly wires. They both tested at 120. Knowing the fault was in the igniter, I purchased the replacement part and followed your video. It was a pretty easy fix and gave me the opportunity to deep clean the oven. 

Our local gas supplier told me how to fix it. I ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros. My wife and I installed it (after much consternation with replacing the oven door!). 

Installed new one. Never would have considered this task on our own, but the video explanation was so clear, we were convinced that we would be able to handle it on our own. 

I replaced the igniter assembly, and that seems to have fixed the problem. This is the second time I replaced the igniter in the 12 years we have owned the stove. It was an easy repair. 

Removed door, bottom cover, and flame deflector. Replaced old igniter with new one(2 screw removal). Put oven back together.

After trouble shot what was wrong I just looked up the part and AppliancePartsPros had the best deal. Was able to install the igniter easily via 2 screws and had the over up and running within an hour. Saved me $100s!

After watching your repair video, I trouble shot igniter to verify that in fact it was not working and needed to be be replaced. Ordering the part was easy and delivery was super fast. I paid extra for two day delivery since we have a family party coming up. Then the fun began. Reading comments from others helped but everything which could go wrong did. I was able to get to the igniter without too much difficulty, however, removing igniter from the bracket was a challenge. One screw came off easy. The other not so easy. It stripped and had to be cut. Not so easy. From that point on it was straight forward. If it had not been for the one screw, it would have been less than an hour, not counting waiting for part. With the screw issue, it was more like six hours. What with all the running around I had to do to get hack saw blades etc.. I figured I saved around $200 by doing it myself. Very satisfied with Appliance Parts Pros. 

Same problem as everyone else... screws holding igniter were frozen/stuck solid. Remove gas burner and THEN attempt to remove stuck screws - it will be a lot easier. On my stove just remove two screws, lift out - then ignitor screws are easily accessible. (30 mins) I spend more time trying to find appliance screws that would fit - couldn't find them so used machine bolts/washers/nuts instead. (2+ hours) Installation (30 mins)
