Basem B Temple City , CA September 09, 2015 Ge profile dishwasher water leak I got a shop to come take a look at it and they advised me to buy a new one before even seeing the dishwasher. They said it will cost me anywhere between $200-350. I bought the parts from the website and paid around $30 with shipping. It took literally 3days. The video was so helpful and it was a piece of cake. I changed the impeller kit and it stopped leaking. Was an extremely easy process thanks to appliancepartspros.com. They really made it easy for me. Gary P Holden , MA January 15, 2022 My dishwasher was leaking water. Stuck my cell phone camera under the dishwasher and captured where the water was coming from. Navigated to AppliancePartsPros.com and found the part that I needed to repair the dishwasher. After the parts arrived I pulled the dishwasher out and replaced the part. Put the dishwasher back in place and washed a load of dishes. The best part is that the water stayed where it was suppose to. Read More... Mark G Weed , CA April 19, 2020 Appliance: General Electric Dishwasher GSD6600G00BB Dishwasher leaking below the motor assembly I watched the online videos provided by this site, twice. They were spot on. After removing the cover below the front door and seeing water dripping from the pump assembly, while the dishwasher was running, I decided it was probably the pump seal on the motor that was worn out. I ordered and replaced both the pump connector and the pump seal / impeller kit, as the pump connector must be removed in order to replace the motor shaft seal (why do work twice, the part was cheap). The OEM impeller kit was a better design than the original that was in my dishwasher (mine did not have the protective screen, it was just a open cone). As all the parts were original GE parts, their fit was perfect. As a note, on the impeller kit there is that metal ring, just make sure it is turned in the correct direction or the motor will not turn freely when it is all assembled. There is a channel on one side of that metal ring that impeller's edge seats into. The total job took me 4 hours because I had to go to my local hardware store and purchase a new flexible water supply hose. I'm 67 years old, you can do this job! Read More...
