Ordered seal and retainer clip (website suggested clip when I was ordering seal!), then followed the great video instructions on the website. I chose to just lie on the floor and work under the dishwasher, rather than pull it out and tip it over, and it worked just fine - although you will probably need a flashlight. I did this because my supply line was rigid copper with compression fittings and I didn't want to deal with disconnecting it. I was also able to leave the water turned on during the repair because I did it that way. You should expect a bit of water to drain out of the shaft hole when you take out the old seal, but in my case it was less than had been leaking out during a wash cycle, and was easily wiped up with a paper towel.
