I had to completely remove the dryer drum and replace the Rear Drum Bearing Sleeve. I bought a new O-ring, but I couldn't get the old one off, so I just forced the old sleeve off and force the new sleeve on - - it worked well.
One note on my GE Dryer - - I love the Engineers!!! Instead of having to hold the spring-loaded idler wheel with one hand and set the belt with the other (would be difficult) - - the GE Dryer has a lip you can hook the idler wheel, under tension - - get the belt in place - - then release the ilder wheel. SO much EASIER! Thanks, GE!!!
