How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2042901 / WE4X881 Dryer Rotary Start Switch

Removed panel and broken switch and replaced with new one. Entire project took less than 10 minutes. 

Bought new one, 5 minutes later it’s in and working.

Ordered and installed a new rotary start switch. Loosened 5 screws unplugged old start switch replaced with the new switch. Total time 10 minutes.

Replaced the starter switch 

Went on line and looked up make and model of dryer and ordered parts off of exploded views on line. When they came I had a question and Francis was nice enough to answer a few questions and walk me through replacement process. She stayed on the phone until I had running again.
